The long-distance Eifelsteig trail runs through the many different regions of the Eifel, from the flatlands of the north near Aachen to the “Hohe Venn” high fen, through the lonely Ruhr valley, past impressive reservoirs, the Eifel National Park and the chalk and volcanic Eifel through to the South Eifel and the Roman city of Trier. 

This offer is available for booking all year round. The best time to travel is from April to November. During the winter months, routes may be restricted due to weather conditions. Also, the shorter days should be taken into account with regard to the distance covered for each stage.
