The Eifelsteig
JUST YOU, THE WATER AND THE ROCKS
Those who set out on the 313-kilometre long-distance hiking trail Eifelsteig from Aachen-Kornelimünster to Trier discover the scenic diversity of the Eifel directly.
You will be on the trail for 15 to 16 days at a stretch. However, the route can easily be divided into several sections so that everyone can hike at their own pace. It is also possible to shorten stages.
From the imperial city of Aachen to Germany's oldest city
The starting point of the Eifelsteig is Kornelimünster, just outside Aachen. From here, the trail leads south to Trier, Germany's oldest city.
