This is us We, Sabine and Thomas Kuck and our three children, welcome you to our family-run guesthouse on the edge of the High Fens, the largest and still intact upland moor in Europe. Our pension, which was built in 2013 and expanded in 2020, is located on the outskirts of Mützenich, in the municipal area of the picturesque town of Monschau. Our guesthouse with its 7 rooms has been classified with four guesthouse stars by the DeHoGa Düsseldorf. We are also certified by the adfc “bett & bike” and are a recognized host “Wanderbares Deutschland”. Within walking distance there are two good restaurants. Further culinary offers can be found in Monschau, four kilometres away, but also in the neighbouring communities of Simmerath and Roetgen. What we offer Are you looking for rest and relaxation or would you like to actively discover the nature of the Eifel and Ardennes? Are you planning an excursion to the medieval town of Monschau, the Eifel National Park or would you like to discover one of the traditional cities like Aachen or Maastricht? Then we are the ideal starting point for your undertakings. Whether you arrive alone or in a group, we offer the right accommodation. In addition to free parking directly at the house, you can park your bicycles and motorbikes in our garage on request. While the “little ones” let off steam on our playground, with trampoline and football goal, the “big ones” rest within sight on our comfortable seats or loungers. In our new comfortable breakfast room you start the day fresh and rested with a wonderful view of the nature. Enjoy our breakfast buffet daily from 8 am. Besides fresh rolls and bread from the local baker and regional sausage and cheese specialities, we also offer homemade jams and honey from the Eifel beekeeper. Our rich breakfast buffet includes different kinds of muesli, seasonal fruits and vegetables and … eggs from our own chickens. We serve fresh coffee, different kinds of tea and juice. Groups: Groups are very welcome in our house. In the evening we are happy to provide you with our comfortable breakfast room as a lounge. Our family-run Landhotel Lamberty is located in the charming Eifel village of Niederkail, a small community in the vacation region of Wittlich Stadt & Land, in the heart of the wild and romantic southern Eifel. The popular long-distance hiking trails Eifelsteig and Karl-Kaufmann-Weg can be reached within a few minutes walk. Our lovingly landscaped country house garden offers plenty of space and opportunity for relaxation and sociable summer evenings. About 16 km along forest-lined curves over the country road you reach the Säubrenner city of Wittlich, faster is the freeway A 60 / exit Wittlich-West. Here you will find the train station in the Wengerohr district with very good connections to Koblenz/Cologne and Trier. We will gladly organize the transfer from the train station as well as from / to the Eifelsteig to our Landhotel Lamberty for you.

The Gerberhaus is part of an old farmstead in the area of the castle town of Manderscheid. Quiet and yet centrally located, you will stay here on the spacious property with inner courtyard and garden.Families will appreciate the large property and the many play possibilities, hiking or mountain bike groups the central location in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. The special layout allows for flexible use of the Gerberhaus:You can choose between a double room with its own shower and toilet, a holiday flat for 5 people or the entire house - just as you need it! Yard & Garden:The Gerberhaus is part of the large property - with old farmhouse, barn with straw boarding house, 2 separate courtyards, large meadow, vegetable garden and garden house. Cyclists and mountain bikers can safely store their bikes and also wash them after a "wild tour".Families with children especially enjoy the garden and courtyard with play facilities (trampoline, slide, table tennis table), and the large courtyard area for playing and romping. The garden is not available to overnight guests of the Strohlager. The animals of the Gerberhaus:There are always animals to pet on the property, such as rabbits or poultry.Just outside Manderscheid there is another farm building where the flock of sheep and our two Icelandic horses live, who are happy to be stroked.Direct location on the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad.
