UNESCO World Heritage Site Igeler Säule. The column was built in the first half of the 3rd century AD by a wealthy cloth merchant family. In November 1986, the 23 m high column was declared a World Cultural Heritage.

An old half-timbered house has been furnished exactly as our ancestors did at the turn of the century. Over 3000 exhibits bear witness to the harmonious, but also arduous way of life of our Eifel ancestors. The museum gives visitors the impression that the inhabitants are not actually in the house. Nothing is closed off, nothing is hidden away in display cases or the like. Freshly restored large appliances and a herb garden round off the ambience, and group tours can also be arranged outside the official opening hours. The Jünkerath Railway Museum documents over 150 years of railroad history in the Eifel and Moselle region. Moselle region is documented. In the exhibition, visitors will find numerous interesting objects from the everyday life of railroad workers. Opening times: April to the end of September, Saturdays from 2 - 4 pm. For larger groups special opening times are also possible by appointment. Admission is free of charge, a donation is requested.
