Water is our element! In Gerolstein you will find one of the most beautiful and varied outdoor pools in the region with a diving pool, slide, air bubbling, beach volleyball and much more.
The spa park is located in the center of Gerolstein and serves as the starting point for the popular hiking trails Keltenpfad and Felsenpfad. Additionally, the Kyll cycle path runs through the park. At the heart of the park, the Helen spring bubbles with fresh mineral water from a depth of about 90 meters, providing a popular resting spot for hikers and cyclists. For families, the water play area by the Kyll invites splashing around, while stepping stones and bridges make crossing the river a little adventure.
The historic Birgel watermill is a unique mill experience centre and the largest in Europe. The four mills are still in operation today: mustard mill, grain mill, oil mill and sawmill.
