The castle pond in the Lieser valley, on the outskirts of Manderscheid, is a protected natural monument.

The Stake is Experience Point No. 4 on the "Hexen, Henker & Halunken" hiking trail.

This Eifel view lies, as the name suggests, above the Rur in the Effelsley area at an altitude of 275 metres above sea level.

The building of the former synagogue (1910) was restored from 1976 and converted into a cultural and conference centre. In 1985, the town of Wittlich opened an exhibition entitled "Images of German-Jewish History", which was to be the beginning of an intensive examination of the fate of Jewish fellow men.

The outdoor swimming pool is located next to the Rur and surrounded by the forrest. We have a generous lawn for sunbathing. Our big pool is divided into a swimmers and non swimmers area. We also have a playground, a beach volleyball court, ping-pong tables and a basketball hoop. You can buy drinks, ice cream and other food at our kiosk. It is two walking minutest from the stopp of Rurtalbahn to us.

At an idyllic location next to reservoir Heimbach. An ideal excursion destination for young and old. We have 18 paddleboats and 20 canoes for rent. In addtion, we have gaming oportunities and a kiosk. A good choice for children's birthdays, school trips and more.

The bike repair station  is located at the Sauer bridge in Langsur. The station includes a hand pump with an adapter for all common valve types. Simply scan the QR code, and instructions and repair tips will be displayed.

The Laurentiusbad in Daun offers a pleasant 28°C water temperature. Barrier-free access with a mobile lift.
