In the Westeifel-Moseltal region, hikers will find the "Strotzbüscher Quelle", a warm mineral water spring. The water temperature of this warm spring located in the Ueßbach valley is almost 20°C.

The Blümchesaushütte is located in the Liesertal valley in the Eckfeld district, right next to the Urpferdbrücke bridge.

Dreiborn plateau

This "Eifel view" on the keep (220 meters above sea level) of Hengebach Castle offers you a view in a south to north-westerly direction over the Heimbach district, with two core areas of the Eifel National Park in the field of vision.

The naming of the former Bastenmühle on the Lieserpfad probably goes back to the first name Sebastian, which was common in the miller's family Feiden.

Idyllically located between the two Eifel towns of Steffeln and Duppach on the volcanic path and the "Vulkane, Maare & Dreese" circular trail, the Eichholzmaar with a diameter of approx. 120 m and a maximum depth of 3 m is the smallest and northernmost water-filled Maar of the Eifel.

The Ten Stargazes are places where you can observe the impressive night sky. They are easy to reach and perfectly equipped for an astronomical voyage of discovery on your own. Exciting information and suitable installations help to deepen the fascination of stargazing. Each Stargaze has been given its own theme. There, a variety of aspects of astronomy and nocturnal nature as well as local peculiarities are shown.
