We would like to offer a varied entertainment program for our guests of all generations, but also give musicians of all genres the opportunity to perform - perhaps for the first time - in front of an audience.
The Abbey Museum which is situated in the vaulted cellars of the abbatial palace of 1727 and displays facsimiles of the most beautiful manuscripts created by the scriptorium of Echternach. It also offers a survey of the life and work of St Willibrord. The exquisite beauty of the rooms as well as the fine quality of the exhibits and of the audiovisual shows make each visit of the Abbey Museum a memorable experience.
The dancing procession still appeals to modern man, as it enables him to include his whole body in his prayer. Jumping and dancing are an expression of joy, but they can become real penance through the effort required. It evokes the feeling of advancing towards the eternal goal in the community of the people of God.Every year on Whit Tuesday some 12-14,000 pilgrims take part in the procession, among them eight to nine thousand dancers.
From the "Krawutschketurm", named after the Eifel hiker Franz Krawutschke, there is a breathtaking view over the mountain ranges of the Eifel and from the edge of the parking lot, the view sweeps over the widening valley of the Rur with the Obermaubach reservoir over the edge of the Eifel into the Jülich Börde and the Cologne Bay.

The Kolverather Drees (=source), like the Josendrees, lies directly on the Josenbach stream. Delicious sparkling water straight from the ground refreshes you along the way.

The Konvikt - House of Culture or House of Church Services, under the sponsorship of the Prüm Municipality, houses various facilities, clubs and associations - including the registry office, the central library, the adult education center and the Eifel Tourismus (ET) GmbH. Events are also regularly held here.
