The 10.5 km Dreiser Kreuze-Weg begins in Kirchstraße, where a remnant of the gallows cross, dated 1599, is attached to the outer facade of the municipal office (Station 1), the oldest cross in the Dreis district.

The Aueler Drees is a natural mineral spring with CO2-containing water with a very high content of iron and manganese. A great opportunity to experience the fresh water of a mineral spring in the wild.  

In the German-Belgian nature park Hohes Venn - Eifel, visitors experience a wide variety of landscapes, such as raised bogs, limestone basins and other natural beauties. The diverse Floria is just as impressive as geological features. Characteristic landscape features for the region are forest areas, picturesque lakes and rivers as well as extensive mountain heights.

The Eifel Nature Centre in Nettersheim is a supraregional adventure centre for environmental education with exhibitions on nature and history, making it an exciting destination for the whole family!   Take part in one of the numerous excursions or attend one of the seminars. From family adventure and activity programmes for school classes to children's birthdays - the offers are always accompanied by experts.  The award-winning Dandelion Experience Path and the Archaeological Landscape Park also invite you to go hiking.
