I am an old tree trunk – and will soon become something new.
Trees are cut down so that something new can be created from their wood, for example, houses, furniture, paper, or musical instruments. In order for the wood to be used, large saw blades cut the trunks into thick planks or fine boards.
But the good thing is: When a tree is cut down, a new one can always be planted again. Because wood grows back – it is a raw material that is continuously produced and that warms, protects, and accompanies us throughout our lives. Maybe you will find something right away that was made from me.
