Nettersheim
From the observation tower on the Mühlenberg you can get a good view of the hilly landscape of the Kalkeifel and the village of Marmagen. The ancestors of Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris, came from this Eifel village. They called themselves Eiffel because of their origin when they emigrated to France.
The Eifel National Park can also be seen from the Mühlenberg. The Kermeter high forest and the Dreiborn plateau are the "heart" of the national park and should develop into almost untouched primeval forests in the future.
Last but not least, the Steinfeld monastery can be seen from here. An interesting and worth seeing monument, which looks back on a long tradition.
The observation tower is located at a height of 546 metres above sea level on the freely accessible grounds of the Eifelhöhen-Klinik. Here, the "Barrier-free Landscape Path" with its numerous stations also invites you to experience nature for all senses.
