Ahrquelle

The parish church of St. George from 1761 is already the third church building on the same site. The baroque interior has been preserved in its original form and is very rare to find in this form. The high altar is decorated with the statue of St. George.

Outside the town on Stäreberg the Jewish cemetery is situated, a silent witness to the Jewish community that existed in Wittlich for centuries. Its origin goes back to the 2nd half of the 17th century.

An sculpture of the virgin Maria. The sculpture is 2 meters high and stands on a pedestal of 6 meters high. The sculpture is built in 1956 during a project with the citizens of Oberbettingen.
