Our small hotel / inn is located in the beautiful Mützenich at 610 meters altitude. The air and the view are unique and invites you to relax. The popular town of Monschau is about 4.5 km from our house. The premium hiking trail Eifelsteig, from Aachen to Trier, passes our inn in 300 m distance. The new Ravelroute (Vennbahntrasse) is about 2,5 km away from our house. Especially for cyclists we have a new garage, which can be used free of charge on request. For our guests arriving by car there is a large parking lot available free of charge. Four-legged friends are also welcome on request. We offer free WLAN in the entire house and in addition to many other, small attentions on our well-equipped rooms, we can still shine with a highly frequented and very good á la carte restaurant. A home-style/ Mediterranean cuisine, rounded off by constantly changing daily specials make many guests very happy. The Venngasthof Zur Buche is now one of the best restaurants in the northern Eifel. We look forward to your booking and assure you already now our fullest attention.

Our guesthouse is quietly situated below the historic castle complex. Hiking and cycling paths lead directly past the house. All rooms are equipped with solid beech furniture, wooden floor, satellite colour TV and radio alarm clock. Family room available (two double rooms with connecting door). Double rooms can be booked as single rooms. Multi-bed rooms available on request. * We have hiking maps of the municipality of Hellenthal and the Eifel National Park available for hikers. * As a qualified National Park host, I am happy to answer your questions about the Eifel National Park. * For the more adventurous, there is advice for tours in the nearer or further surroundings. * Fresh fruit and water are available all day in our tea kitchen, where you can also prepare coffee, tea or a cappuccino.

ARBORETUM is a unique obstacle course in the wild nature of the Eifel. In the midst of a forest with mature and also exotic woods, an approx. 900-metre long, elaborate course with around 25 obstacles awaits beginners and daredevils alike. It's all about fun, team spirit and endurance. Overcome limits, leave obstacles behind you.
