Do you love the historic rural ambience of a bygone century? We welcome you to enjoy our very special offer: Sausages and meat products from German pasture pigs from the museum's own breeding, bread and crumble cake from the museum bakery's stone oven, fruit juices and wines from organic cultivation. Four different regions invite you to enjoy typical specialities of the Lower Rhine, Bergisches Land, Westerwald or the Eifel. Our seasonally changing menu delights you with cold or hot regional dishes. The beer garden behind the "Zur Post" inn invites young and old to linger. There is a rest area for children's groups and school classes - no need to eat!

Here you will be provided with all kinds of specialities from the region during your tour. On the grounds there is also a petting zoo for young and old and a milk filling station with farm shop - well worth a detour! We keep various animals in seven enclosures, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, goats and sheep, two alapacas and a pony. A special attraction is the pond; here live goldfish and koi as well as geese and ducks. All the animals look forward to being fed and petted by you.
