LVR-Freilichtmuseum Kommern
Flashback 1975 - The museum festival of memories
As every year, guests can once again look forward to a diverse and exciting program for all ages. Among other things, visitors can look forward to an exhibition featuring around 200 classic cars that were once a common sight on the streets.
The “Historic Campground” will also be back. This year, for the first time, visitors will be able to marvel at over forty RVs, tents, and travel trailers. Right next to the campground is the famous “Tatort-Bude,” which serves guests treats typical of the era.
The program also includes many hands-on activities and craft workshops.
Anyone who’s worked up an appetite from the program can sample dishes typical of the era at the museum’s restaurant. For the first time in a long while, the Watteler restaurant is also reopening to coincide with the event.
In addition, there will be a “cocktail bar” and a “milk bar,” as well as grilled sausages at the historic Vosen-Bude. The Friends of the LVR Kommern Open-Air Museum will also be serving refreshments at several stands.
