Guided hike with the Eifel Association OG Reifferscheid.

The hike primarily takes place on forest and meadow paths and starts off briskly up to Mittelberg before gently descending through the shady forests of Isimutstal, to reach the highest point of the hike at 320 m above sea level at the upper end of Rosstal. After that, it steeply descends into the Rurtal with its typical Bundsandstein rocks. This area is one of the most strictly protected habitats in the Eifel due to the nesting raptors. The path then switches to the left riverbank and initially ascends again, offering a splendid view. Finally, the destination Abenden is reached via shady forest paths.
