O Holy Night - Weihnachtskonzert

The two versatile artists Katharina and Christiane Martini take you on an artistic journey around the theme of happiness.

The program, which already captivated audiences last year, will be performed again due to popular demand. The most popular pieces from the hit program will be featured once more, while new pieces—not performed in 2025—will expand the repertoire and add new musical dimensions.

With soulful vocals and virtuoso piano playing, the two artists span a musical spectrum ranging from contemplative elegance to modern brilliance. Classics such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “White Christmas,” and “O Holy Night” are presented in fresh, lively jazz arrangements that both move and uplift the audience.
In addition to well-known Christmas carols, the program also features soulful ballads and festive highlights from the world of musicals—music full of emotion and expression that speaks as much to the magic of the big stage as it does to the quiet joy of the Christmas season. The result is a varied program that blends modern musical expression with timeless contemplation.

Sophie Mende captivates with a voice that conveys both delicate emotions and great richness of sound. Pascal Lucke, a pianist and prominent artist in the region, accompanies her with a keen sense of style and atmosphere. Together, they create a concert experience that blends festive spirit, musical diversity, and stylish presentation into a harmonious whole. An evening for everyone who wants to get into the Christmas spirit through music just before the holidays.

The concert will take place in the former monastery library at Steinfeld Abbey.
The venue is not wheelchair accessible. Eligibility for a discounted ticket (schoolchildren/students/people with severe disabilities) will be verified at the box office.
