The 6th stage of the Eifelsteig leads from the Monastery Steinfeld to Blankenheim

Welcome to Satzvey Castle, one of the most beautiful moated castles in the Rhineland. The first documentary references date back to 1396, but it is assumed that the foundation walls of the castle house are even older. Family-owned for over 300 years, Satzvey Castle is still the residence and ancestral seat of the family of Count Beissel von Gymnich.

The motorhome park offers 43 designated pitches in close proximity to the Maare-Mosel cycle path. Each pitch has its own electricity supply. Centralized water supply and wastewater disposal are installed.

Our restaurant offers heated indoor spaces through an oven as well as a spacious beer garden. In addition to German and Dutch cuisine, we also offer vegan and vegetarian alternatives. Opening hours vary by season.
