The Siechhaus offers many facets of the rural-Rhenish flair. In summer you can linger in the courtyard café and in the wild farm garden and eat Grandma Anna's crumble cake in the sun. In winter, the nostalgic guest room offers cozy comfort.

The art of hand weaving made Rupperath famous far beyond the town's borders. Years ago, a hand-weaving community was founded, which has built up an excellent reputation. In the museum rooms, the spinning wheel still whirs and the loom rattles. Hand-woven items, from the smallest gift to church vestments, are produced here according to the old art.
