The Eischen family has collected well over 2,500 exhibits from the world of photographers and filmmakers. These include valuable exhibits such as Lanterna Magicas, old film and cinema projectors or laboratory equipment. Upon request, Ms. Eliane Eischen-Küntsch will guide you through the museum.
"Tree of life" an approx. 35 m high, evergreen thuja (thuja plicata / giant tree of life) has been growing in Bad Bertricher Alleegarten in front of the Electoral Palace. The extraordinary tree is well preserved, protected as a natural monument and has already been mentioned in Clara Viebig's novels.

In the museum rooms, the spinning wheel still whirs and the loom rattles. Hand-woven items ranging from the smallest gift to church chasubles are made here according to the old art.
