An old half-timbered house has been furnished exactly as our ancestors did at the turn of the century. Over 3000 exhibits bear witness to the harmonious, but also arduous way of life of our Eifel ancestors. The museum gives visitors the impression that the inhabitants are not actually in the house. Nothing is closed off, nothing is hidden away in display cases or the like. Freshly restored large appliances and a herb garden round off the ambience, and group tours can also be arranged outside the official opening hours.
