The place is called Bird-Watching-Station.

There are telescopes at the bird-watching station .
You can see birds up close through the telescopes.
For example, you can see
how a bird searches for food over the lake.
Or how a bird feeds its babies.
One telescopic tube is deeper than the other.
This means that people in wheelchairs can also
can look through the telescope.
You can see birds from the Eifel National Park at Lake Urft.
These birds live in the national park:
Cormorants.
And crested grebes.
And ducks.
And gray herons.
Cormorants in particular love Lake Urft.
Because cormorants find lots of fish here.
Cormorants eat the fish.
And feed their babies with fish.
In the past, cormorants no longer existed in parts of Germany.
Humans then gave cormorants special protection.
Today, many cormorants live on Lake Urft again.
There are also information boards at the bird-watching station.
The information boards contain a lot of information
about the landscape.
And the birds in the national park.
Rare birds also live in the national park.
For example, the black stork.
With a bit of luck, you might see a black stork.
There is a restaurant near Lake Urft.
The restaurant has no steps.
People with wheelchairs can easily get into the restaurant.
You can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.
