A turbulent one-person piece by and with Markus Kiefer.
What happens when the sun is gone? Not only is the light gone, but nothing else remains either. This is the experience the quirky painter Ferdinand Schabrak Düvall must go through in the play "Rapatité or Thank you, Rüdiger!" Author and actor Markus Kiefer performs this poetic solo for children from four years old.
Düvall is a funny artist. He only paints at night, and he only paints moons: Because as a child he was afraid of the dark and could only sleep when the friendly moon came into his room. Now Düvall sends his pictures to children all over the world, so that they too no longer have to be afraid. During the day, the painter sleeps standing on his ladder. Again and again he calls his friend Rüdiger with his iron telephone. It is Rüdiger who sends Ferdinand the beautiful blue paint for his moon pictures.
"Rapatité or Thank you, Rüdiger!" is an entertaining delight for both big and small with a beautiful, heartfelt message.
