Blankenheim - Mirbach

Sparse soil and junipers on a gorgeous track, partly following the Brotpfad trail, which heads over the hills of Blankenheim, down into the Schafbachtal valley, and back up again to the plateau around Ripsdorf. The route is very diverse, passing through meadows and woodlands, over high plateaus, across the vast juniper area around the Kalvarienberg near Alendorf, and down into the Lampertstal valley with its unique flora.
