Gerolstein - Daun

Volcanoes and coral reefs.

This stage is divided into two different sections. Up to Neroth (approx. 3 hours), the track heads almost exclusively through light woodlands, making it ideal for warmer days. An exception is the Dietzenley, a volcanic mound with a lookout tower. The view over the Kyll Valley and the surrounding area is impressive. The route then largely heads through open country, over high plateaus, volcanic cones and valleys.
