Location signs

There is a location sign at every signpost. Apart from information about sea level and location, it also contains the UTM co-ordinates. These co-ordinates allow hikers to orientate themselves with the help of GPS (Global Positioning System) devices. The location sign also shows the telephone numbers of the relevant tourist information centre.

The telephone number may also be used to inform of defects on the trail and on the signposts.
